Shakespeare in Performance stages plays according to Elizabethan conventions of production exclusively for educational purposes.  We investigate early modern acting styles, dramaturgy, and rhetoric; thrust stage practices; the relationship between authenticity and adaptation in the performance of Shakespeare’s plays; and how an acting troupe functions in the preparation and performance of plays.
